Guest blogger…
Sep 29th, 2007 by Cari McGee
The Parade of Homes finished up a couple weeks ago and it was a great showcase this year…warming drawers abounded.
House #4 was over-the-top. Too big for my taste, not decorated to my taste, and filled with completely unnecessary components (why a TV over the urinal, for example? How long do you guys take, anyway? I’m guessing not long, which is why you never have lines outside your public restrooms). But, the guest blogger, my 9-year-old son, thought something was AMAZING. Here he is to tell you about it:
Down in the basement, there was a sports-themed room!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With a SPORTS TICKER!
Well, I thought he was going to write more, but that was what was important to him. At every subsequent house, he said, ”Mom, that one house had a sports ticker!” He’s just like every other buyer in the world…something in a house appeals and nothing will distract the buyer after they’ve seen the one that they want. Period.

[...] Yes, that’s my wife, and yes, she reads this blog. And I did promise a link to all readers who help with this, after all. Oh, by the way, my 9-year-old son has made his first “guest blogger” contribution to Cari’s real estate blog. I am positive this is how Stephan Spencer’s daughter got started. Go ahead, tell others about this… These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages. [...]
