I always say we’re in the red part of a blue state. Most Tri-Cities residents vote Republican. In fact, most of the Eastern side of the state votes Republican (larger tracts of land, less people pushing in from every side, more of a don’t-tell-me-what-to-do-when-you’re-all-the-way-across-the-country mentality).
